In order to promote the development of the school and the personal growth of teachers and students, Sellers Union Group donated a total of 1 million yuan to Chairman Patrick Xu's alma mater – Fenghua Xiwu Middle School to set up the "Xu Pingju Education Fund Award". On the morning of July 4th, the signing ceremony of "Xu Pingju Education Fund Award" and the first award ceremony were held at Fenghua Xiwu Middle School. Zhang Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Education Bureau of Fenghua District, Wang Gang, Director of Xiwu Subdistrict Office, Kevin Ma, Assistant President of the Group, Henry Wu, Director of the Finance Department, and heads of relevant departments of the Subdistrict Office attended the ceremony. Some teacher representatives, parent representatives, and student representatives participated in the ceremony. 106 students and 16 teachers were awarded the "Xu Pingju Scholarship" and the "Xu Pingju Education Award".

In 1971, Patrick Xu was born in Jiangjiachitou Village, Xiwu Street. In 1989, he graduated from Xiwu Middle School, Fenghua District. After graduating from the university, he entered the foreign trade industry and became an outstanding foreign trader. Patrick founded the Group in 1997. After six-year's hard work, the company's import and export volume reached 30 million US dollars, which was in the lead in the Ningbo foreign trade industry. Since its establishment for 26 years, the group company has reached a revenue of over 1 billion US dollars, with over 2000 high-quality employees, which is a leading import and export group in Zhejiang Province and ranks among the top 500 in China's service industry.

Along the way, Patrick Xu has always been grateful for the era of foreign trade, the national society and the alma mater platform. In order to give back to his alma mater, the Group signed the contract with Fenghua Xiwu Middle School to set up the "Xu Pingju Education Fund Award". The Group will donate 200,000 yuan every year for five consecutive years to reward outstanding teachers and students of Xiwu Middle School and improve the school's educational conditions. We believe that the "Xu Pingju Education Fund Award" can help the school build a healthy, learning, and scientific teaching team with broad mindedness and selfless dedication, and inspire more excellent students become better persons.

Entrusted by Mr. Xu, Kevin Ma gave a speech at the ceremony. Kevin said that President Xu always believes that the ultimate goal of running an enterprise is to create social value and make greater contributions to the society. He emphasized that the "Xu Pingju Education Fund Award" aims to encourage outstanding teachers who strive on the front line of education to make better contributions to the education industry in their hometown and promote great students to become excellent talents of the country and the society.
